The Caribbean Diaspora over the past 20 years has doubles and accounts for over 2.5 billion dollars annually. South Florida is the gate way to the world…With your help, CAVCP will continue to document the progress that this colorful community continues to make on the shores of the U.S.

Caribbean –American Visual Cultural Preservation (CAVCP) is a 501© 3 non-profit organization, seeking funding primarily through government grants, contributions from private enterprise, community based organizations and individuals. CACVP initiates and runs diverse programs aimed at encouraging and promoting the visual preservation of the Caribbean.

Artist Archive

The Artist Archive project is a monthly event that features and celebrates artist of different genres. Each month a Caribbean artist is selected, interviewed, and recorded as part of an on going effort to preserve Caribbean art.

Documentaries

The CAVCP Documentary Collection is a series of documentaries that celebrate and reinforce CAVCP’s mission of preserving and promotion Caribbean culture. Each month a documentary and/ or film is broadcast to the public.

Internship

The Video Production Internship Program is a semester-long program which provides 10-15 students in High School the opportunity to develop their portfolio by granting them access to Film/Video Art’s courses, and post production facilities.
